The Condo's Location
The Maui Treasure condo is located in Kihei on the west (best) side of Maui, just north of glamorous Wailea and an easy 20 minute drive from Kahului airport.
Its street address is 940 S Kihei Rd.
Unlike many condos, this condo enjoys views over the pool area and to the beach
and ocean beyond. It
does not have a 'garden view' (or, worse, a car park
view!), but instead gives you a true ocean view -
and surely that is one of the things you most want
to experience during your Maui vacation.
There is plenty of shopping
within walking distance, for souvenirs, tourist
necessities and for fresh food, fruit, and
everything else you might want. Restaurants and
fast food outlets are also in the neighborhood so
you can choose between eating in or eating out as it
suits you.
Maui Information
Maui is the second largest of the islands in
the Hawaiian chain. It measures about 48
miles across at its widest point, and about 25
miles from north to south, with 150 miles of
coastline.
Maui has three airports, the main one being
Kahului (airport code OGG). This is also the
closest airport to the condo.
There are nonstop flights direct from the west
coast, operated by airlines such as Air Canada,
Aloha, American, ATA, Delta, Hawaiian and United.
There is regular service between Maui and
Honolulu (HNL) which is a very short 100 mile
flight. It is very easy to fly to Honolulu and
then change planes for the quick hop to Maui.
The other two airports on the island are Kapalua
(JHM) and Hana (HNM).

Most people choose to rent a car for their stay
on Maui, enabling them to conveniently tour around
the island. There is free parking at the
condo. But if you preferred, you certainly
could enjoy your time without a car, too.
Taxis cost about $2/mile, and it is about a $22
cab fare from the airport to the condo. There
is also a shuttle service (Speedi Shuttle, 800
977-2605).
Weather
The weather in Kihei is remarkably similar all
year round - and remarkably perfect all year round. So plan your vacation
any month of the year, and you'll be assured of a
wonderful stay.
